  • Strategically developed new opportunities and maintained customer satisfaction in North America, Federal, and Latin America. Focused on account penetration, partner development and solution selling products and services to new accounts and existing customers. Initiate work streams involving executive staff and strategic customers that helped steer company product direction and vision. Hired and mentored colleagues and built the highest performing technical team within the company.
  • Performed technical chalk talks, business value demonstrations, proof of concepts and tailored existing Apache Struts Java web foundation applications to meet client requirements and sell a solution. Create high impact, solution demonstrations that address common pain points and apply them to different industry verticals.
  • Performed competitive and industry analysis against the competition and formulated solution playbooks based on the findings. Authored selling tools (portal, commerce and personalization white papers, architecture diagrams, RFI/RFPs, performance metrics and sizing documents) that emphasize business value and impact.
  • Identified “technical gaps” in our existing product portfolio from a content management perspective and was involved with the merger and acquisition recommendation of a content management solution that led to the acquisition of Interleaf for $877 million.

Enterprise Architect

  • Developed and maintained architecture blueprint for BroadVision Applications (Commerce, Portal, Finance, Travel and Billing) and provided a reference implementation.
  • Developed long-term strategy and roadmap with regards to deployment and complexity of C++ CORBA Servers.
  • Defined, designed, developed and deployed the first production instance of RS Components on BroadVision Commerce 3.0 with Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP). The first instance of an e-commerce site incorporated payment, taxation (Vertex) and custom pricing handlers (ERP integration). Worked closely with CTP and enabled them on BroadVision technology and deployment best practices.
  • Gathered requirements and worked closely with partner GranVia in developing a backend Financial CORBA Server for Banco Santander. The best practices developed were incorporated into BroadVision future product release cycle and BroadVision Commerce applications.
  • Worked strategically with the North America Sales leadership team to develop “proof of concept” applications for strategic enterprise site licenses. 
  • BroadVision One-To-One application suite offers robust e-business solutions that encompass J2EE technology compatibility and comprises comprehensive e-business applications, content management, personalization, analytics, and wireless support.
