Ricardo is the Founder of Teclaz, responsible for the growth and expansion of the company. Ricardo brings a rare blend of deep technical expertise in AI/ML, vector search, cloud-native architectures (GCP, AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks, paired with global leadership experience in enterprise sales, alliances, and strategic growth initiatives. He held leadership roles across Google Cloud and top-tier consultancies, scaling technical programs, GTM strategies, and partner ecosystems. Ricardo​ ​received his MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business, a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University, and he is completing a Masters in Data Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ricardo is a self-professed tech geek and an avid outdoorsman who loves hiking.

Janel is a Co-Founder of Teclaz and leads the company’s marketing efforts, spanning product marketing, demand generation, branding and creative, field marketing, and community evangelism. She previously served as Vice President of Field Marketing for Leapwork, helping fuel global growth in AI-powered test automation. Janel brings a wealth of hands-on technology startup experience building field, channel, and growth marketing functions at Redis, Elastic, Zscaler, Riverbed, SafeNet (acquired by Thales), CipherTrust (acquired by Secure Computing), and BroadVision. She holds a JD from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law, and a BA in Anthropology from Stanford University. Janel’s passions outside of work include college football, hiking, bodyboarding, and watching YouTube how-to videos.

RJ is a Co-Founder of Teclaz and leads the company’s pulse on technology trends, adoption, and how to eliminate friction points. He is double majoring in Computer Science and Statistics at Duke University, where he is a head undergraduate teaching assistant and involved in undergraduate research. He is currently helping develop a LLM model for the early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease and investigating how student self-reported learning beliefs impact their academic help-seeking. In his spare time, you can find RJ playing the sousaphone at football and basketball games, running, or finding new dessert spots.

Kim brings a unique blend of creative storytelling, media expertise, and leadership to Teclaz as the VP of Communications and Public Relations. Kim’s career has spanned film, print media, and public relations, and she has excelled as a writer, photographer, and communications strategist. She earned numerous awards for her work and played a key role in conceiving, developing, and launching award-winning publications in Georgia honing skills in clarity, audience engagement, and turning complex information into compelling narratives. A lifelong Georgian born and raised in Atlanta; Kim earned her B.A. in Communications (with a Film minor) from Georgia State University. She is passionate about supporting local entrepreneurs and creative communities. Outside of work, Kim is that rare bird who loves riding horses, traveling, and exploring wines from around the world, particularly Champagne.
