Teclaz is wrapping up an incredible week at Google Cloud Next. We sat in on sessions that focused on how AI is moving past repetitive tasks and into scientific breakthroughs. The big headlines were all about the agentic enterprise and the launch of the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, a comprehensive platform to build, scale, govern, and optimize agents. Other key transformative announcements included:
- Innovations in 8th generation TPUs (Tensor Processing Units, high-performance chips optimized for large-scale AI workloads) mean faster model training and lower-latency inference. This enables Teclaz to deliver even more responsive, real-time AI analytics.
- The Agentic Data Cloud with a cross-cloud data lakehouse and knowledge catalog that will allow organizations to use their data across cloud platforms and storage locations without moving data into one unified data lake. This will enable Teclaz with future product innovations.
- Google’s acquisition of Wiz’s Cloud and AI Security Platform combined with Google’s Threat Intelligence and Security Operations forms Agentic Defense to prevent, detect, and respond to threats. Teclaz runs on Google Cloud infrastructure.
The Google product announcements were exciting, but equally exciting were the presentation sessions and conversations throughout the week. One of the best pieces of advice we heard this week came from Fabian Hedin, Co-Founder and CTO at Lovable. He shared a powerful "Start/Stop" framework for founders in the audience that hit home for our team:
- Start doing: Building for what can create value today.
- Stop doing: Designing too much for the future.
