The Teclaz Story: Homegrown in Madison, GA

If you search for Teclaz on Google Maps, you will see a farm. Pecan trees tower over the 1900 farmhouse that we restored. Cows graze in what we call our “Silicon Pasture.” We created Teclaz in this environment, where our minds refresh themselves with nature and we have space to think. If you look closer, you will notice a few things that make this lifestyle and founding an AI analytics startup here possible including:

  • A fiber box from Spectrum who provides fiber to our farm with gigabit speed.
  • A Starlink satellite bolted to the post of our carport and plugged into our well pump house.
  • A portable Starlink satellite that we can take wherever we go.

No longer are rural areas disconnected and too remote to conduct high-tech business. Rural areas and communities represent opportunities for lifestyle choice without sacrificing anything.

Georgia Tech CREATE-X Launch Startup Program selected Teclaz in February to participate in their 2026 Summer Cohort. CREATE-X Launch empowered 750 startups to a collective valuation of $3 billion. We will receive training, mentorship, and pro-bono legal services to scale our company and showcase Teclaz to 1,500 global investors and founders.

Google for Startups Cloud Program selected Teclaz in April to help us build and grow. This partnership allows us to scale our business with mentorship, education, and access to resources. Building on our success in April, Teclaz became a Google Cloud Partner to leverage the most advanced cloud-computing architecture for our machine-learning models.

Teclaz looks forward to working with the Terry College of Business at UGA, and submitting a proposal for a project where students will immerse themselves in a real-life learning opportunity to continue our innovation and local community impact.

We’ve swapped a daily commute to the city for meetings at The Sinclair, our local coffee shop, and we buy fresh bread and pastries from The Patisserie on Main. Culture and arts thrive with performances at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, historic home tours, antique events, and concerts in the park.

We partnered with our local community and enlisted manufacturing companies like Code Green Response (CGR) and the Episcopal Church of the Advent to shape the ease of use and direction of our product. We meet with business leaders and entrepreneurs at The Wheelhouse, the hub of support and innovation for Madison. Learning and growing together builds communities and success as we lean on one another.

Madison’s physical location sits 90 minutes away from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, which takes us anywhere in the world within a day. Within a 2-hour radius, we can network with and recruit talent from Georgia Tech, UGA, Georgia College, Augusta University, Emory, GSU, Morris Brown College, Spelman College, among others.

By building Teclaz in a rural area, we are driving local impact and proving that grit, obsession, and purpose-driven technology can flourish anywhere. With a free starting tier and a professional tier for $19.99/month, we are making sure that a small business on Main Street has the same AI analytics intelligence as a Fortune 500 company on Wall Street.
